In short

• Your songs and playlists are stored only on your device. We don't have a server that receives them.
• The microphone is used only while the mic button is on, to follow your singing. We don't record or keep your voice.
• The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Pro has no ads.

Your songs and playlists

Songs, playlists and settings you create are saved on your device only. They are not sent to us. If you delete the app, they are deleted too (unless your device backs up app data to your own iCloud or Google account).

Microphone and speech recognition

When you turn on the mic, SingScroll uses your device's speech recognition to understand the words you sing and follow them in the lyrics. On iPhone this is Apple's speech recognition, and on Android it is the device's speech service (usually Google). Depending on your device and language, the audio may be processed on the device or by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. SingScroll does not record, store or send your audio to us.

Websites you browse

In the Browse tab, websites are displayed as they are. SingScroll reads the words on the page on your device only to follow your singing, and does not copy, store or send them anywhere. The websites you visit have their own privacy policies.

Ads (free version)

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device information such as an advertising identifier and IP address to show and measure ads. Where required (for example in the EU and UK), you are asked for consent first. On iPhone, ads are personalised only if you allow tracking. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase history, not your name or payment details.

Children

SingScroll is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Because your songs stay on your device, you control them: you can edit or delete them at any time in the app. For questions about ads or subscription data, contact us at the address below.
