Play guitar. Sing. We'll scroll.
Both hands are on the guitar, so who scrolls the chords? SingScroll listens while you sing and keeps the lyrics and chords you need right in front of you, line by line, at your tempo.
👆 It's live: tap + or − to transpose, or tap any word to jump.
The strum, stop, scroll problem
Every singer-guitarist knows it: the chord chart runs off the bottom of the screen right before the chorus.
Your fretting hand is busy
Taking a hand off the neck to swipe means a missed chord or a dead beat. Mid-song is the worst time to touch a screen.
Autoscroll is never the right speed
Tab site autoscroll moves at one speed. Real songs slow down, speed up and stop for a solo. It's always too fast or too slow.
Chords in the wrong key
The chart is in E but your voice wants D, or you play it with a capo. Rewriting every chord by hand kills the practice session.
Autoscroll guesses. SingScroll listens.
Same song, same singer. Watch what happens on a long held note and a guitar solo.
From chord sheet to hands-free in seconds
Paste the chords
Copy a chord sheet from anywhere. SingScroll recognises chords above the words, inline chords like [Am], and Verse and Chorus labels.
Tap the mic
Start playing and singing from the top or from anywhere in the song. SingScroll finds where you are.
Keep playing
The chords for the line you're singing stay in view and the next line is ready before you need it.
Made for playing and singing at the same time
Chords above the right word
Chord changes stay lined up with the syllable they belong to, even on a narrow phone screen.
Waits through your solo
It follows your voice, not a timer, so it holds still during intros, solos and instrumental breaks.
Transpose and capo
Change the key in one tap and every chord follows. Using a capo? Transpose the chart to the shapes you play.
Works on chord websites
Open popular tab and chord sites in the app's Browse tab, or use the Chrome extension on a computer, and SingScroll follows you right on the page.
Record your takes
Hit REC to record yourself playing, then listen back on the speaker or the earpiece. Rename takes to keep the good ones.
Set lists for gigs
Open mic, busking spot or a three-hour bar gig: build a playlist, drag songs into order and tap Next between songs.
What it looks like

Where singer-guitarists use it
Learn new songs without memorising the chords first. The chart scrolls as you sing, so you can focus on your playing.
Clip your phone to the mic stand. Three songs, no fumbling between verses, no awkward pauses to scroll.
A long set list in order, dark mode for dim rooms and big text you can read from a step back.
Record a take, listen back, adjust the key and go again until it sits right in your voice.

Why it follows your voice, not your guitar
Autoscroll guesses. It scrolls at a fixed speed and hopes your song keeps it. SingScroll listens for the words you sing and matches them to the lyrics on the screen, so it moves exactly when you do.
That also means your guitar parts are safe: during an intro, a solo or a long outro there are no words to follow, so the chart waits for you. When you start singing again, it picks up from the line you're on.
It works with any song you can find the chords for. Paste a chord sheet in the usual chords-over-lyrics format, or in ChordPro style with chords in square brackets, and SingScroll lines everything up.

Questions, answered
Do I need a special format for the chords?
No. Paste chords above the lyrics the way most chord sites show them, or inline chords like [G] and [Am]. Section labels like Verse, Chorus and Bridge are recognised too.
Does it scroll during a guitar solo?
No. SingScroll follows your singing, so during intros, solos and instrumental breaks it waits on the line you're on, then follows again when you sing.
Will my guitar confuse it?
SingScroll listens for the words you sing, so strumming between lines doesn't move it. Keep the device near you, for example on a mic stand or music stand. If it ever loses you, tap any word to jump there.
Can I use it with a capo?
Yes. Use transpose to move the chart to the chord shapes you play with the capo on. Transpose is part of SingScroll Pro.
Does it work with guitar tabs?
SingScroll is built for lyrics with chords. Pure tablature lines (the numbers on strings) are shown but not followed, because there are no words to sing.
Can I use my Bluetooth page-turn pedal?
Yes, as a backup. In the web app and the Chrome extension, pedals that send arrow or Page Up / Page Down keys step through the song line by line, while SingScroll keeps following your voice.
Does it work for ukulele, mandolin or banjo?
Yes. SingScroll follows your voice, so any instrument works, as long as you sing the lyrics. Ukulele chord sheets paste in just like guitar ones.
Is SingScroll free?
Yes. The free plan includes voice-following with every follow style, the Chrome extension and the built-in browser, up to 5 songs, 1 playlist and recordings on 5 songs. SingScroll Pro adds unlimited songs, playlists and recordings, transpose and colour themes for $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and starts with a free trial. You can cancel anytime.
Which devices does it work on?
On a computer, use the web app at app.singscroll.com in Chrome, Edge or Safari, or the Chrome extension to sing on any lyrics website. On iPhone, iPad and Android you can use the web app in your browser today; the native apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
