The teleprompter that listens to you sing.
Regular teleprompters scroll at a fixed speed and leave you chasing the words. SingScroll follows your voice word by word, so it slows down when you hold a note and waits through the instrumental.
👆 It's live: tap + or − to transpose, or tap any word to jump.
Why normal teleprompters fail singers
Teleprompters were made for speeches, which move at a steady pace. Songs don't.
Fixed speed, real music
A ballad breathes, a chorus pushes, a bridge holds. A prompter set to one speed is wrong most of the time.
Someone has to drive it
A prompter needs an operator or a remote. When you're singing and playing, that someone is nobody.
One mistake and you're lost
Skip a line or repeat a chorus and a timed scroll keeps going without you. Getting back on track takes the rest of the verse.
Autoscroll guesses. SingScroll listens.
Same song, same singer. Watch what happens on a long held note and a guitar solo.
Your lyrics prompter in three steps
Add your lyrics
Paste any song, with or without chords. Section labels like Verse and Chorus are recognised automatically.
Pick a follow style
Highlight word by word, line by line, or a smooth glide. Set the text size you can read from where you stand.
Sing
Tap the mic. The words follow you at your pace, find you after a skip and wait during instrumentals.
Everything a singer needs from a prompter
Speed set by your voice
No speed slider to guess. Sing faster and it keeps up, hold a note and it waits.

What it looks like

Who uses a singing teleprompter
Put your phone or tablet right under the camera. Your eyes stay near the lens and the lyrics follow your performance.
New songs in the set? Keep a safety net on the stand without memorising everything before the gig.
Learn the words while you sing them. The highlight shows exactly where you are, and you can tap any word to practise from there again.
Read new lyrics cold in the booth, line by line, without anyone scrolling for you.

A prompter that follows instead of leads
A speech teleprompter works because speakers can match a steady scroll. Singers can't: the tempo of a song changes from bar to bar, and the space between lines depends on the arrangement. So the prompter has to follow the singer.
SingScroll does that with speech recognition tuned for singing. It matches the words it hears to the lyrics on screen, highlights the next word so it feels on time, and handles the hard cases: choruses that repeat almost word for word, skipped verses, and words sung differently than they are written.
If you play an instrument too, the chords stay above the words and can be transposed in one tap.

Questions, answered
How is it different from a teleprompter app?
Teleprompter apps scroll at a speed you set or need someone with a remote. SingScroll listens to you sing and moves with your voice, so there is no speed to set and no one needs to drive it.
Can I control the scroll speed?
In the app there is no speed to set: your voice is the speed. Tap any word to jump, or use the arrow keys or a page-turn pedal to step line by line. The Chrome extension also has an Auto mode, a classic steady scroll with adjustable speed, for when you want one.
Can I use it while filming covers?
Yes. Place your phone or tablet below or beside the camera and sing. SingScroll only needs to hear you through its microphone. Your camera records the video as usual.
Does it record my voice?
Only if you tap REC to record a take, and those takes stay on your device. Otherwise the microphone is only used to follow your singing while the mic is on.
Can it show chords too?
Yes. Paste chords above the lyrics or inline like [Am] and they stay lined up with the words. Leave them out for a lyrics-only prompter.
Which languages does it understand?
29 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Hebrew, Arabic, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Korean and Hindi. SingScroll detects each song's language automatically, and you can change it per song. Hebrew and Arabic lyrics read right to left, with the chords in place. Depending on the device, some languages need an internet connection.
Is SingScroll free?
Yes. The free plan includes voice-following with every follow style, the Chrome extension and the built-in browser, up to 5 songs, 1 playlist and recordings on 5 songs. SingScroll Pro adds unlimited songs, playlists and recordings, transpose and colour themes for $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and starts with a free trial. You can cancel anytime.
Which devices does it work on?
On a computer, use the web app at app.singscroll.com in Chrome, Edge or Safari, or the Chrome extension to sing on any lyrics website. On iPhone, iPad and Android you can use the web app in your browser today; the native apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.
